We all face stress at some point in our lives and sometimes it’s good. Stress can motivate us, get us moving and keep us out of danger.
Stress is unhelpful when it becomes a major roadblock preventing us from achieving our goals and living with wholeness and integrity. When overwhelming stress becomes a constant in our lives it hits our self-confidence and self-esteem, and can lead to anxiety, depression and ill health.
We may experience stress:
- at home and at work
- following or during a major life event
- when life gets out of balance
- at times of illness, loss and grief
- when things don’t go to plan
- at times of transition
Tapping into your genius
I work with you to understand the cause of stress, but that’s not the only focus. I look beyond the issue, to understand you as a whole person. What are your beliefs and values? What makes you who you are?
I explore beneath the critic that sits in your head, and guide you to tap into your true essence, your genius. I work with you to find ways to deal with, and manage, the stress in your life, in a way that works for you.
Everyone takes a different route to reach this point so I don’t follow a pre-determined ‘success’ model in my coaching. I listen to what’s going on for you and work with you on issues of most significance on the day.
