Your focus determines your reality.

Always remember, your focus determines your reality.    GEORGE LUCAS

Research is showing that writing down your values, and focusing on how much your day reflects those values, takes you through a self-affirming process. In the short term it enables you to feel more powerful and in control, and more connected and empathetic towards others. It also has the effect of increasing pain tolerance, of enhancing self-control and of reducing unhelpful deliberations after a stressful experience. There are more long term benefits as well, merely by taking the first step to write down, and reflect on, your values, and to operate from them in your daily life. (Refer to research at Stamford University – and nearly 100 other research studies in this area).

Do you know what your values are, and if not what steps can you take to gain clarification?
